Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first fashion house to introduce (in 1966) the concept of luxury prêt-à-porter, with a collection called “Saint Laurent Rive Gauche”, synonym of youth and freedom. This shift represented a first crucial step in the modernisation of fashion and drove a strong renewal in socio-cultural humus of the epoch.

Over the years, the innovative styles of the Maison have become cultural and artistic references, and its founder, the couturier Yves Saint Laurent, has been recognised as one of the most important designers of the twentieth century. Nowadays part of the Bering Group, the Saint Laurent Maison has remained faithful to its identify linked to a concept of absolute modernity and authentic authority in the world of fashion. Under the creative management of Anthony Vaccarello, the Maison today offers a vast range of men’s and women’s prêt-à-porter, leather ware, shoes, jewels and eyes.
