November 25 is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, an initiative launched by the ONU in 1999.

This date was chosen to commemorate Mirabal sisters, who were deported, raped and murdered on November 25, 1960 in the Dominican Republic.

Among the supporters of this cause, YSL Beauty stands out for its commitment to women’s empowerment through its global “Abuse is not love” program. The project aims to educate 2 million people by 2030 about the 9 Warning Signs that are often misinterpreted as manifestations of love.
