Canada – The New Chapter of Fay Archive

FAY / OCTOBER 2023

The Fay brand was born in the 1960s in Maine in the United States Of America. The company produced work clothes for Maine firefighters, durable, versatile garments with unique features suitable for work.

In 1987 it was acquired by the Della Valle family, from here the Fay brand took on a fashion connotation recognizable worldwide as the iconic “Workwear” jacket with the 4 metal hooks.
“Fay Archive” “is a side project of Fay born two years ago to remark the origins of the brand. It works, studies and reinterprets the brand’s archives telling not only the product, but its history and origins. A jacket made with those who work in mind with the 4 metal hooks to give security and adaptability to a work jacket.

In 2020 Fay Archive, instead of the usual advertising campaign, creates the “Testers” campaign: a trip around the world in search of real testers to demonstrate how the brand’s iconic jackets are suitable for extreme situations. Men who are inspirational and invite a common dialogue between seemingly irreconcilable realities.
After Russia, Iceland, Lanzarote, the new chapter of “Testers” arrives in Newfoundland, Canada, to present the new outerwear collection.
