Saint Laurent Rive Droite opens exhibition of plywood sculptures
SAINT LAURENT / FEBRUARY 2024

From January 29 to February 26, 2024, Saint Laurent Rive Droite in Los Angeles presents The Plywood Sculpture Exhibition, in collaboration with Eames Office. On display are seven limited-edition sculptures by renowned designers Charles and Ray Eames.
This is the first time these limited-edition wood sculptures, literally plywood, are on public view. Created in 1943, the sculptures represent contemporary art and design pieces.

The exhibition, in conjunction with Palm Springs Modernism Week, will be hosted at the Saint Laurent Rive Droite store in Los Angeles and will feature, in addition to the seven sculptures, a number of artworks related to Charles and Ray Eames, including drawings, photographs and the film “Blacktop.”
Charles and Ray Eames, a pair of American designers and architects, significantly influenced 20th century design.
They created the famous Eames Lounge Chair, worked with innovative materials and influenced modern design with their creative philosophy of combining form and function.
