Galleria Cavour 1959 celebrates the recent opening of Giorgio Armani’s flagship store in New York, a majestic building on Madison Avenue that houses Italian fashion, design and luxury in the city “that never sleeps.”

A TRIBUTE TO THE BIG APPLE

Giorgio Armani again chooses New York for an event that combines tradition and innovation. On Oct. 17, the designer presented his Spring-Summer 2025 collection in an elegant off-schedule fashion show at the historic Park Avenue Armory. The newly opened Armani flagship store at 760 Madison Avenue offers not only the brand’s iconic collections with the Giorgio Armani boutique but also the Giorgio Armani Residences and spaces to enjoy the full Armani experience with Armani/Restaurant and Armani/Home.

New York, for me, has always been linked to the many films that have deeply marked my imagination. I think of the city in the 1930s and 1940s, which never ceases to inspire me and which I evoke, with its atmospheres, in the new Giorgio Armani women’s collection. A recall without nostalgia, though. More vital and frenetic than ever, New York is indeed looking ahead, always ready to point to new models of life, style and sociality. I am happy to unveil the new building on Madison Avenue, which I am celebrating with an event and fashion show. It is a project developed with my team of architects, expressing a concept of luxury with deep respect for the culture and spirit of the place, and intended as a lasting tribute to a city that has welcomed me and marked important moments in my career.”

The new space, the result of a collaboration between Armani, SL Green Realty Corp and architecture firm Cookfox, is an example of timeless elegance and functionality. The building has an area of 9,000 square meters developed on 12 floors, with eight storefronts on the street and is distinguished by its refined and modern design. In addition to the Giorgio Armani boutiques, Armani Casa and the restaurant. nine private residences complete the experience, created to provide a place where Armani aesthetics meet living comfort, enriching Madison Avenue with a new landmark.

The restaurant, on the ground floor, echoes the warm and relaxing tones typical of Armani Casa, offering a refined and intimate setting. The light blue details and clean lines convey a feeling of calm and personal care, ideal for those seeking a moment of privacy and quality. This dining space blends seamlessly with the rest of the building, creating a unique experience.

GIORGIO ARMANI’S FASHION SHOW AND MESSAGE
Armani’s elegance came to life during the fashion show: retro atmospheres and delicate tones such as pearl gray, powder blue and beige alternated in light and refined dresses. The collection reflects the designer’s vision, a celebration of timeless elegance that invites relaxed and conscious living, even in hectic New York City. Armani reminds us that fashion can be a journey, a path to authenticity and well-being.

With this new opening, Giorgio Armani reaffirms his special bond with New York, the city that has welcomed and inspired him since the beginning of his career. A tribute to a bold and innovative metropolis, always ready to reinvent itself together with one of the greatest protagonists of international fashion.
