The ancient village of Castelluccio di Norcia, located within the Monti Sibillini Park in the province of Perugia, was severely damaged in the 2016 earthquake.
However, a hope for rebirth is emerging, thanks to Brunello Cucinelli’s initiative. Carefully managed by the Brunello and Federica Cucinelli Foundation, this project will inspire the rebuilding of a village, following the same philosophy that guided the restoration of Solomeo, where the company is headquartered, including its suburbs, and the town of Norcia. The Cucinelli family has close ties to Norcia through the enduring influence of the Benedictine spirit, which has always inspired the entrepreneur.
