GALLERIA CAVOUR 1959 • TRIVIO

The project “The Geography of Transformation” was created by fashion designer Cristina Battistella during the last edition of the Advanced Training Course in Sustainable Fashion Supply Chain Management at the University of Prato, of which Silvia Gambi is director.
Fashion, sustainability, and art not only represent themes addressed repeatedly by Marta Martina, but also reflect three of the core values of Galleria Cavour 1959, which was the first commercial gallery internationally to acquire the important “carbon neutral” environmental certification.

The project connected sustainable fashion with art by creating a collection of clothes, designed and produced by Cristina Battistella, which were then interpreted and enhanced by nine artists and artists including Ester Grossi, an artist in residence at Palazzo Boncompagni for many years already.
From Thursday to Sunday, the garments will be on display in an “under glass” exhibition in the Terrazza Green exhibition hall of Galleria Cavour 1959.
The talk is free admission subject to availability with reservations required. Please fill out the form below.
