At the Chateau Marmont a magical evening celebrating Cucinelli’s ties to the California city, a place that feels like “a second home.”
“I have long wanted to return to Los Angeles, a city of hospitable charm. Every time I return to this place, its airy and engaging image takes me to a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, somewhat akin to that which enchants my beloved Umbria. Thus I imagine a similarity between the essence of this land and that of Assisi and in particular Santa Maria degli Angeli, where the Portiuncula of St. Francis is preserved, from which it takes its name, sealing a sort of spiritual connection with the soul of the places.”
So writes Brunello Cucinelli on his Instagram profile
“We found ourselves here in this beautiful and evocative setting of @chateaumarmont with “friends” for whom I have esteem for their artistic and human talents for a dinner that I wanted to call “of gratitude.” With some charm and emotion, we discussed the great issues that sometimes plague our souls. As we said goodbye, with some very heartfelt glances and hugs, we wished each other that all mankind would find the path to peace, concord and brotherhood, following the path pointed out to us by our beloved stars.”
